The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) is legislatively charged with eleven areas of criminal justice coordination. CJCC has been designated as the State Administrative Agency for numerous federal formula and competitive grant programs. Applicants chosen for employment will be subject to financial, driving, education and criminal background and reference checks.   Description

Under supervision, performs complex administrative duties and statistical, financial or operational data analysis and reporting in support of evidence-based programs and juvenile justice initiatives. Identifies trends, discrepancies, and variances to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. May partner with other departments, divisions, outside agencies, and vendors to address business issues. Exercises various latitudes of independent judgment. May administer or provide high level support for various projects, grants, contracts, implementation of procedures and / or any specialized functions. Valid driver • s license required.

  Key Juvenile Justice Model Fidelity Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Conducts regular site visits to ensure fidelity to juvenile justice programs and provide ongoing programmatic support and technical assistance - Requires nontraditional work hours (for example evening hours of 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm) and some overnight travel
  • Conducts and coordinates financial, personnel, product, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning
  • Develops and conducts trainings to support recommendations
  • Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with area business community, internal and external agency customers, and other related contacts
  • Monitors effectiveness of business operations, assesses quality of service and makes recommendations to improve operations
  • Receives additional training, as required, to gain proficiency and experience in all areas
  • Gathers, compiles, and analyzes data
  • Prepares reports of findings and analysis. May make recommendations to management for operational changes
  • Assists in the development and delivery of training related to evidence-based programs and core correctional practices

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Law, Bus. Admin., Pub. Admin., Crim. Justice, Juv. Justice or related field from an accredited college or university & one or more years of experience with evidence-based practices (such as “Thinking for a Change”, “Aggression Replacement Training”, “Brief Strategic Family Therapy”, “Multisystem Therapy”, “Functional Family Therapy”, and “Seven Challenges” AND/OR one or more years of experience in any of the following: Development & delivery of training related to evidence-based programs & core correctional practices, Development of policies and procedures related to the governance of grant programs, Programs monitoring including site visits, Data collection, analysis & summary

Bachelor's degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university AND One year of experience related to area of assignment. Note: An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge, experience and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year-over-year basis.
