Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess one or more of the following:
1. Demonstrated experience utilizing software programs to analyze and interpret data, assess the implications to operations, and advise leadership based on those assessments. 2. Demonstrated experience working independently in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
3. Individual must be highly organized, and detail oriented with a strong understanding of state purchasing rules and procedures.
4. Experience in transportation logistics or as a vehicle coordinator or service advisor. 5. Well-developed oral, written, analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
6. Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
This position performs complex administrative duties to support daily operations for GDC Fleet Services. Duties include ongoing research and analysis of multiple database systems including ARI, Wex Fuel, Wex ClearView, DOAS Dashboard, Driver Check, and Garage Maintenance. Responsibilities include providing detailed reports to management to assist with the allocation, use, and assignment of vehicles. This position oversees preventative maintenance and fuel guidelines for all vehicles and monitors required services in order to maintain safe vehicles statewide. Duties include ongoing reconciliation of vehicle records between databases. This position oversees tag and vehicle registration, vehicle assignments, surplus vehicles (incoming and outgoing), and transfers. This position also supports daily operations which includes answering phone lines, greeting customers, entering work orders, coordinating outside repairs, updating inventory, and maintaining key control.
