The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their full-time Health Care Incubator Program Manager in the Office of Academic Affairs.

Reporting to the Director of Curriculum for Allied Health, the Healthcare Workforce Incubator Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing healthcare education and training in Georgia. Working within the Technical College of Georgia (TCSG), you will lead the implementation of a comprehensive workforce training program aimed at addressing the pressing demand for a skilled and adaptable healthcare workforce in the state. You will collaborate with healthcare providers, educational institutions, and stakeholders to design and deliver targeted training initiatives, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of patient care and the improvement of the overall healthcare system.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

·         Program Development and Management: Collaborate with healthcare systems across the state to establish program criteria and design customized training pathways to address specific workforce needs.

·         Stakeholder Engagement:  Forge partnerships with healthcare providers, technical colleges, K-12 schools, and other stakeholders to foster a seamless approach to healthcare education and training.

·         Data Collection and Analysis: Visit healthcare facilities throughout Georgia to gather crucial data on workforce needs and trends. Compile and organize data to inform the development of effective training programs.

·         Community Engagement: Lead communities in the design and implementation of healthcare pathways tailored to meet the unique needs of rural communities.

·         Training Delivery: Deliver customized training programs as needed, leveraging instructional design capabilities to ensure high-quality and practical training experiences.

·         Budget Management: Manage program budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to support program objectives.

·         Collaborative Initiatives: Work collaboratively with healthcare employers to offer practical, clinical-based training for uncertified workers, leading to certification and eventual employment.

·         Communicate the results of data analysis to TCSG and other stakeholders for feedback as required.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

·         Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, education, business, or a related field.

·         Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program management, particularly in healthcare workforce development or education.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

·         Master’s degree preferred

·         Proven experience in designing and implementing successful health programs.

·         Experience with healthcare extern and internships programs and or resident program utilizes in health care systems.

·         Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including workforce challenges and trends.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

·         Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategic solutions.

·         Experience in budget management and resource allocation.

·         Ability to travel frequently within the state of Georgia.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES 

 

·         Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

·         Ability to work in a team environment.

·         Excellent technical/technology/computer skills.

·         Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS).

·         Decision making and problem-solving skills.

·         Strong client-facing skills, assertiveness, strong communications skills, leadership, self-starter.

·         Ability to manage multiple assignments.

·         Skills in interpersonal relations and dealing with multiple agencies.
