Duties & Responsibilities: Under general supervision, performs general secretary duties including typing of notices, awards, orders and other documents with a high degree of accuracy; maintains assigned case files and diary systems; schedules evidentiary hearings; inputs statistical data; communicates with case parties and the general public in a service-oriented, friendly, and professional manner; screens and processes telephone calls (heavy volume) and written communications; manages multiple tasks, performs other duties to assist the administrative law judge, and others as assigned; performs all tasks and duties in a fast, efficient, and timely manner.

 Minimum Training & Experience:  2-5 years legal assistant/secretary experience, preferably Workers’ Compensation; Organized, detail oriented & self-motivated; Heavy case management experience; Excellent written & verbal skills; Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills, including ease communicating with co-workers; Must be a customer service-oriented individual, including ease with communicating with the public in person, electronically, and on the telephone.

High school diploma or GED AND Two years of experience in a legal setting using computer software OR Two years of experience in an office setting using computer software.
