The 165th AW/CES Purchasing Section is seeking a customer-focused individual to serve as a Supply Clerk, ensuring
materials, supplies, equipment, and services are available for all customers of the 165th Airlift Wing and supporting
GSUs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains stock in supply warehouses;
- Assists with the annual warehouse inventory and equipment inventory;
- Assist craftsmen and traditional guardsmen with fulfilling supply requests;
- Maintain and update state and military property hand receipts;
- Initiates purchase requests into iEMS and complete receiving ticket information in iEMS;
- Assists with inputting and closing out work orders;
- Complete EESOH-MIS training for HAZMAT;
- Coordinate PMEL runs with LRS for all CE equipment;
- Possible travel required for training
- Performs other duties assigned by the Production Controller, BCE, Facility Manager and State
Superintendent.
This position requires possession of a valid Drivers License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift Certification;
- Knowledge of state supply operations and new State of Georgia Purchasing Guidelines;
- Completion of Georgia Purchasing Certification Program (Selected applicant will be required to complete the GPCP
within 12 months)
Additional Information:
Selected applicant must meet the following standards:
- Must pass a pre-employment background check (which includes criminal records check, driver's history, and verification
of work history) and a post-hire federal background investigation;
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and will be placed in the pool for the State Random Drug Testing
Program;
- Eligible to work in the U.S.;
- Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
