 Job Description, Responsibilities, Standards and Qualifications:

This position monitors treatment and conducts site visits to ensure consistent levels of treatment integrity and provides ongoing training, monitoring, coaching, and feedback on the implementation of evidence-based curricula.

This is a hybrid position that requires in-office and remote work with the approval of your supervisor. Your days of frequency in the office can change at any time during your employment based on the business needs of the organization. Travel requirements include driving statewide with occasional overnight stay.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conducts monthly accountability court fidelity site visits.
  • Ensures the fidelity of evidence-based participant treatment.
  • Identifies trends and discrepancies in treatment fidelity.
  • Develops reports based on fidelity site visits.
  • Provides technical assistance to accountability courts statewide.
  • Participates in curricula and booster trainings.
  • Conducts accountability court treatment research and prepares reports.
  • Maintains site visit spreadsheet.
  • Assists with developing treatment fidelity standard operating procedures.
  • Delivers fidelity treatment program training to new treatment providers.
  • Facilitates evidence-based curricula training to accountability court staff. Curricula training may include Cognitive-Behavioral Intervention (CBI) and/or Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT).
  • Assists in planning the Council of Accountability Court Judges annual conference, to include delivering assigned duties.
  • Attends accountability court graduations and other court related events.
  • Participates in and completes ongoing accountability court training, including state and out of state training.
  • Provides support for funding/grant decision making processes.
  • Assists in hosting statewide trainings. Duties may include performing pre-event coordination duties; managing training approvals and course rosters, including wait lists; coordinates with event location in regard to audio-visual needs, catering, etc.; manages hotel schedules. Performs on-site and post-event coordination duties; sets up meeting rooms; provides support to attendees and vendors. Creates certifications of completion and forwards them to attendees and coordinators.
  • Facilitates webinars; creates links and sends confirmation emails; serves as technical support and webinar host.
  • Assists in the training and onboarding of new personnel.
  • May represent CACJ as a member of the Georgia School of Addiction Studies board.

 Performs related duties:

  • The work consists of varied administrative, monitoring, and compliance enforcement duties. Strict guidelines and standards contribute to the complexity of the position.
  • The purpose of this position is to monitor the delivery of treatment services to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines. Success in this position contributes to the success of accountability courts in the provision of treatment services.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Intervention (CBI) and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT).
  • Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
  • More than four years of related experience
  • Knowledge of accountability court policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Knowledge of drug and alcohol abuse treatment principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based curriculum development and training principles.
  • Knowledge of treatment facility inspection and monitoring principles.
  • Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs.
  • Skill in the analysis of problems and the development and implementation of solutions.
  • Skill in the development of working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Skill in the preparation of clear and precise administrative reports.
  • Skill in oral and written communication.
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of professional job-related experience which includes one (1) year in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role; or Two (2) years of experience at the lower level Social Svcs Prgm Consultant 2 (SSP041) or equivalent position.
