Administrative Assistant 1
Post Release Division ( Interstate Compact Unit)
Under direct supervision, performs a wide range of office administration duties for assigned functions or program areas; duties may be complex in nature and may involve access to confidential information. May research, investigate, and/or resolve program data or issues. Drafts documentation, reports, or presentations. Represents program or unit, provides information and assistance to internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Office Administration & Workflow: Performs general administrative support functions for the Interstate Compact Unit, managing confidential records, state-to-state case files, and official correspondence.
- Data Research & Problem Resolution: Researches, investigates, and resolves program data discrepancies or operational issues using specialized law enforcement and offender tracking platforms.
- Reporting & Documentation: Drafts documentation, administrative reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for unit leadership and external stakeholders.
- Customer Service & Stakeholder Support: Represents the unit and agency professionally; provides assistance, information, and guidance to internal staff, out-of-state compact officials, and external criminal justice stakeholders.
- System Data Maintenance: Accurately enters, updates, and reviews program records across inter-agency databases.

Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets and Google Workspace platform (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.).
- Proficiency in ICOTS (Interstate Compact Offender Tracking System), SCRIBE, Portal, and CONS systems.
- Knowledge of Interstate Compact rules, policies, and state-to-state transfer processes.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive law enforcement information responsibly.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
