This position is responsible for managing and processing day-to-day operational functions under the College Services group. In collaboration with the technical colleges, this position will be responsible for one or more services including return to title IV(r2t4), Satisfactory academic progress, verification, professional judgement(sap), and c flag resolutions.
Responsibilities
Manage compliance functions for multiple colleges, including r2t4, sap appeals, and verification tasks.
Assist with form edits and creation in campuslogic studentforms.
Process c flags such as unusual enrollment history.
Process professional judgement appeals and dependency overrides
Review sap appeals to ensure compliance
Other student affairs related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree *and* Two (2) years related work experience - -Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
5 -10 years of experience using banner for financial aid processing of r2t4, verification, and sap.
2 years of experience using campuslogic to build custom forms.
2-5 years of experience using campuslogic studentforms to process verifications.
5 years of experience reviewing SAP appeals
5 years of experience performing professional judgements and dependency overrides.
Technical Competencies
Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex processes, solve problems and multi-task in conjunction with various departments
Exceptional critical thinking skills demonstrated by the ability to analyze information, evaluate results, and facilitate resolution for compliance
Ability to work as part of a statewide higher education community recognizing diverse needs of individual colleges
Ability to establish and maintain professional and productive working relationships with staff at all levels at the college and the system office
Ability to read and interpret complex regulatory documents and assist in evaluating their impact on policy and procedures
The ability to travel through the state of Georgia will be required.
