Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, monitor market activities to ensure compliance with market rules and regulations and federal and state safety regulations.
- Document and report any indicators of potential criminal activity or fraud on the market. Assist in managing market operations and sanitation.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Evaluate applications, issue and keep record of any market license issued
Ensure all tenants, customers, guests and contractors are in compliance with the market rules and regulations
Evaluate market premises for and safety/liability issues, document any violations and concerns and assist in resolving any issues Assist with inspection of the market leased facilities documenting and reporting any damage or lease violations
Documenting repair requests from tenants for their leased building and responding with a working knowledge of tenant/landlord obligations
Assist with market sanitation and upkeep
Assist with basic repairs and upkeep of market equipment
Other duties as assigned.
(STATE MINIMUM) Minimum Qualifications:
- High diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be able to work outdoors
- Basic knowledge of small engine maintenance
- Strong communication skills
