Start your career in public service. The Office of Facilities & Support Services is seeking candidates for Contracts Administrator Supervisor. This position will supervise the development and administration of support service contracts for DFCS Child Welfare programs. Monitors contractor compliance with federal and state laws, rules and regulations, and departmental guidelines. Provides direction and support for the ongoing operation of various Support Service programs, vendor management and provider engagement.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supervises and plans work of assigned staff.
- Controls fund source distribution and reviews fund utilization.
- Coordinates implementation of contracts.
- Develop and implement contracting policies and procedures.
- Direct/coordinate the procurement and property programs.
- Ensures compliance of documentation that reflects established procedures.
- Examines and interprets construction plans.
- Insures compliance of project documentation according to established procedures and record retention.
- Performs research, evaluation and analysis for monitoring performance for compliance/non-compliance of contracts.
- Prepares contracts in compliance with federal and state laws, rules, and regulations and agency/department requirements.
- Prepares, processes, and reconciles contract documents and reimbursement requests.
- Process all construction plans, the contract proposals and contracts for bid.
- Reviews contract specifications before solicitation and ensure available funding.
- Reviews final pay statements and makes recommendations for payments.
- Verifies that project pay items are in compliance with department specifications and established procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED and seven (7) years of contracting job-related experience, which includes two (2) years in a lead worker, team lead, or supervisory role; or three (3) years of experience required at the lower level Contracts Administrator 3 (LEP032) or position equivalent.--Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.Equal Employment Opportunity Employer
