Job Description:
Columbus Technical College is looking for a part-time Admissions Counselor/Recruiter for our Student Affairs office at Ft. Benning, GA. This person will be responsible for coordinating and implementing student recruitment/admissions activities for the college. This position is part-time/non-exempt.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates the enrollment services for military connected students.
Plans and implements student recruitment activities to include campus tours, recruitment material mailings, maintains a recruitment mailing list, maintains social media sites, develops promotional gifts for events and serves as the technical college representative at college recruitment functions.
Coordinates recruitment events and services on the military installation.
Assist prospective students with the admission and readmissions process to include advisement of specific career paths.
Serves as primary point of contact for the Military Tuition Assistance and Credential Assistance programs.
Assists in the evaluation and data entry of high school, college, and military transcripts.
Provides information by telephone, written correspondence and in person to interested parties regarding application procedures and admissions requirements.
Serves as Veterans Education Benefits Certifying Official.
Hold primary office hours at the Education Center on Fort Moore.
Collaborates with Academics to develop military connected student schedules on the installation each semester and adds additional programs if needed.
Assists with the design and execution of special event projects and activities; and
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field *and* Two (2) years of related work experience
Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-to-year basis
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and knowledge of Veteran Benefits, Military Tuition Assistance, and Military Credentials Assistance programs.
Salary/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
