POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION: Dental Assistant Adjunct Instructor

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Part-time positions available as Adjunct faculty. Adjunct faculty position responsibilities include classroom instruction and evaluation of student performance, outlining and implementing curriculum and labs for classes.  Fall classes needing adjunct instructors are Microbiology and Infection Control (DENA 1050) and Dental Assisting I:  General Chairside (DENA 1340) Spring classes needing adjunct instructors are Preventive Dentistry (DENA 1030), Dental Assisting II:  Dental Specialties and EDDA Skills (DENA 1350), and Dental Practice Management (DENA 1400).

NOTE: Lab Tutor positions are part-time positions of employment appointed on a per academic term basis. Therefore, your employment is limited, and there is no expectation that your association with Chattahoochee Tech will be extended beyond this term.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current Certified Dental Assistant
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • At least two years’ experience as a DA

SALARY/BENEFITS:  Lump Sum based on the class hours.  There are no State Benefits.  Please be aware that all Chattahoochee Technical College employees must be paid by DIRECT DEPOSIT unless exempted by the State Accounting Office based on “hardship” evidence provided by the employee.
