Job Summary
The Director of Dual Enrollment is responsible for the administration, development and implementation of initiatives, supervision of employees and management of the operating budget for the dual enrollment program. The Director is responsible for leadership and oversight concerning all dual enrollment course and program.

Dual Enrollment Management (20%)
• Responsibilities include oversight of scheduling, staffing, and maintaining credential and contractual (MOU) documentation of all dual enrollment courses/programs.
• Compiles program statistics to include enrollment, retention rates, graduation rates and licensure rates where applicable.
• Strengthens partnerships with school systems in the service area and participates in strategic efforts to support dual enrollment.
Promote Dual Enrollment Opportunities (20%)
• Delivery of special events and marketing materials to promote dual enrollment such as Counselor Summits, Parent Nights, Recruitment events in all school systems
Dual Enrollment Programs/Offerings(15%)
• Oversee the curriculum, testing, text books/text codes, scheduling of classes, faculty employment, and academic standards for courses/programs.
Student Support (10%)
• Coordinates the student grade appeal process by gathering documentation from all parties and rendering a decision.
• Works with Deans to mediate issues between DE students and faculty.
Faculty Support (10%)
• The position will provide instructional support to faculty teaching dual enrollment courses/programs.
NACEP Accreditation (10%)
• Responsible for the compliance and management of the college’s NACEP accreditation.
Supervision (10%)
• Manage and supervise fulltime DE staff.
• Ensure cooperation, coordination and communication among all campuses and across all functional areas for dual enrollment.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and technologies.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time administrative position. Work load is Monday-Friday with possible evening and weekends based on necessity. Expected to monitor correspondence, follow-up and work as needed at various times dependent upon collegiate administrative needs.
Travel
Travel to other campus locations is required, as needed. Some overnight travel may be required.
Required Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree *and* Five (5) years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in a program related to the fields of general business, education, social science, medical, or technical education is strongly preferred.
• Three years of in-field work experience within the past seven years in higher education administration;
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, Banner and Knowledge Management Systems (KMS);
• Minimum of five years of direct supervision of full-time staff with three years supervising faculty;
• Previous experience teaching in a post-secondary institution;
• Extensive knowledge of dual enrollment programs and related financial aid practices
• Knowledge of the mission of postsecondary vocational/technical education;
• Knowledge of program assessment and strategic planning strategies;
• Knowledge of budget development and management principles;
• Knowledge of state and local academic program curricula;
• Knowledge of academic course standards;
• Skilled in the delegation of responsibility and authority, interpersonal relations and decision making and problem-solving skills.
