POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
POSITION: EMSP Adjunct Instructor – North Metro Campus (Acworth) & Appalachian Campus (Jasper)
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Part-time position available as Adjunct faculty. Assist the Program Director and/or lead instructor in instructing, supervising and evaluating students in classroom/lab setting.

NOTE: Adjunct Instructor positions are part time positions of employment appointed on a per academic term basis. Therefore, your employment is limited and there is no expectation that your association with Chatt Tech will extend beyond this term.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
Responsible for instructing students in accordance with program policies and procedures in a team-based instructional environment in laboratory settings. Evaluates student performance of psychomotor skills using program criteria. Explains critical knowledge points regarding psychomotor skills to students in the EMS laboratory setting. Operates EMS skills laboratory equipment effectively. Maintains professional competence and certification or licensure. Assignments may include days and/or evenings and may be BLS and/or ALS level of instruction. Responds to emails and voicemails; completes required professional development, evaluations and other college required responsibilities in a timely fashion. May perform other related tasks as assigned by the Program Director or College Administration.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed Georgia Paramedic (National Registry Certified)
- 3+ years of EMS experience in the field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Experience teaching within an accredited EMS program.
- GA EMS Instructor/Coordinator License (EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic)
SALARY/BENEFITS: Salary $38.00 per hour. There are no State Benefits. Please be aware that all Chattahoochee Technical College employees must be paid by DIRECT DEPOSIT unless exempted by the State Accounting Office based on “hardship” evidence provided by the employee.
