POSITION: Business Instructor, Full-Time PRIMARY LOCATION: DeKalb Campus ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Georgia Piedmont Technical College is seeking a 12-month full-time faculty member for all Business programs, which includes Business Management, Business Administration, and COMP 1000 courses. The faculty member will provide theory and practical instruction to a level sufficient for students to develop the skills necessary to become employed in the Business field. The position also requires the flexibility to teach day or evening classes. This is an on-campus position. The instructor will be responsible for performing all aspects of instruction for the assigned program to include, but not limited to, implementing, revising, and evaluating assigned subject area using state standard curriculum; utilizing all resources within assigned curriculum area efficiently and providing up-to-date skills and knowledge of program area to meet the needs of students, as well as business and industry demands. The instructor will also be responsible for assisting with advisement of students enrolled in the Business Management programs, textbook selection, developing instructional materials, and other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Division Chair of Education & Business. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • A minimum of a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, in Business Management or related field. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in Business Education. • Experience in teaching Business concepts and software application courses. • Microsoft office certification and/or business-related education or experience. • Experience in teaching and curriculum development in online and traditional classroom settings. SALARY/BENEFITS: The salary range for this position is from $55,000 - $60,000 and will be based upon education, experience and other qualifications. This is a full time, on campus position with paid state holidays, accrued annual and sick leave, and the State of Georgia Health Flexible Benefits Program
Minimum Qualifications:
