The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Health Aide/Safety Monitor in the Admissions Unit at Georgia Regional Hospital – Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA.
Salary Range: $40,144.0 per year based on experience

3:00 p.m. - 11:30 PM
Job Description:
This position ensures that all patients entering the admissions unit are free of contraband before being placed in the unit. Staff are also responsible for monitoring patient activity and preventing negative interactions between patients. This provides a safe environment and protects staff and patients from harm. Report to the MD and charge Nurse.

One year experience in mental health or medical or related field - One year of experience performing direct care activity/basic nursing procedures, and training/security for persons with physical, mental health, and/or substance abuse disabilities. Experience working with forensic patients or correctional offenders. Proficient Computer Skills Valid driver's license
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED and six (6) months of experience in a related field; one (1) year of experience required at the lower-level Health Aide 1 (HCS020) or position equivalent.Equal Employment Opportunity Employer
