Under broad supervision, performs any combination of duties to maintain order, sanitation and cleanliness in facilities. Maintains supplies as needed.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs job responsibilities with minimal supervision
Serves as job expert or organization resource in assigned areas
May supervise and/or direct the work of others
Cleans and straightens assigned areas
Ensures laundry, housekeeping and floor equipment is in good working condition
Maintains and stocks equipment and supplies as needed
Makes specialized clothing and other items (restraining clothing, helmets, surgical gowns)
Mends and makes minor alterations to residents • clothing and other items. Makes simple repairs to upholstery and mattresses
Observes requires safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse
Operates hand tools and power cleaning equipment
Plans, develops, schedules and implements laundry services Entry
Qualifications:
One year of experience as a lead worker in related area of assignment OR One year of experience at the lower-level Housekeeper2{FES041) or position.
Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to Entry Qualifications, Preferred Qualifications may be added by the agency.
Minimum Qualifications:
One (1) year of experience as a lead worker in a related area of assignment; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Housekeeper 2 (FES041) or position equivalent.Equal Employment Opportunity Employer
