Compensation Details:

Job Description:

Under broad supervision, performs any combination of duties to maintain order, sanitation and cleanliness in facilities. Maintains supplies as needed.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs job responsibilities with minimal supervision

  • Serves as job expert or organization resource in assigned areas

  • May supervise and/or direct the work of others

  • Cleans and straightens assigned areas

  • Ensures laundry, housekeeping and floor equipment is in good working condition

  • Maintains and stocks equipment and supplies as needed

  • Makes specialized clothing and other items (restraining clothing, helmets, surgical gowns)

  • Mends and makes minor alterations to residents • clothing and other items. Makes simple repairs to upholstery and mattresses

  • Observes requires safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse

  • Operates hand tools and power cleaning equipment

  • Plans, develops, schedules and implements laundry services Entry

Qualifications:

One year of experience as a lead worker in related area of assignment OR One year of experience at the lower-level Housekeeper2{FES041) or position.

Preferred Qualifications:

In addition to Entry Qualifications, Preferred Qualifications may be added by the agency.
