JOB SUMMARY
As an IT Project Intern, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting various projects processes from start to finish. You will work closely with project managers and identified team members to ensure that your assigned tasks related to project documentation, archiving, and follow-up is checked by a Sr. Project Manager for completion and publication.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and Agile Coach to ensure projects processes are executed according to plan and meet all requirements in preparation for project planning cycles.
Support the project team by coordinating meetings, populating project data in roadmaps/PPM tools, maintaining project sites, tracking progress, managing documentation versioning for dissemination, and providing process status updates.
Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and partners to ensure project success.
Identify and find issues with processes and/or documentation and make the necessary approved updates.
Ensure project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily available to all relevant parties.
Assist in the management of project tools and documentation on a cadence to ensure adherence to project structure and consistency.
Participate in the continuous improvement of project management processes and procedures.
AGENCY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Enrolled as a full-time or part-time student
Overall GPA of 2.0 of better
Fall of previous year academic transcript
Meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States; 18 years of age
Meet any additional requirements of the attending school's Internship Program
AGENCY PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in or master's degree (In Progress) in Business, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or any other relevant field
At least 1 to 2 years of experience in project coordination or management during work or academic experience
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent writing, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively while communicating progress iteratively
Ability to work independently and in a team

IMPORTANT NOTE:
This is a temporary internship position. Interns are paid on an hourly basis in accordance with their current academic classification as of the previous Fall Semester. This position does not include benefits, earned leave, or paid holidays. Interns may work up to 40 hours per week during the program period.
The pay for this position is as follows:
(0-59 semester hours): $20.00 per hour
(60-120 semester hours): $21.00 per hour
Graduate students (must hold a bachelor’s degree and be enrolled in a graduate program): $23.00 per hour
