POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT: Part-time General Educational Development (GED®) Examiner
Under supervision of the Director of Adult Education Special Programs and the Chief GED Examiner, administer, supervise, and control GED test registration and GED testing according to established policies and procedures.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Successfully completes new examiner training and participate in other annual training sessions as required.
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and requirements relating to activities of an official GED® testing center.
- Control testing sessions by following all GED Testing Service and Pearson Vue policies and procedures for conducting a testing session under standard conditions or with accommodations for candidates with disabilities.
- Ensure that all staff members under their supervision comply with the policies of the GED Testing Service and Pearson Vue Policies and Procedures Manual.
- Train and supervise test proctors as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- An Associate Degree or a High School Equivalency with two years of relevant experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills and great customer service skills under pressure.
- Must be available to participate in GED testing activities 2 days per week at the Paulding and North Metro Campus (Friday & Saturday). The testing schedule is subject to change based on program needs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in administering standardized tests.
- Experience as a GED Examiner.
BENEFITS
- This position is about 7-14 hours per week This schedule subject to change. The salary for this position is
$15.00 per hour with no State of Georgia benefits.
