The Professional Education Worker at Georgia Piedmont Technical College supports and facilitates various educational and training programs for adult learners, ensuring high-quality instruction and a positive learning environment.
Job Responsibilities**
* Deliver engaging and effective instruction in assigned subject areas, utilizing diverse teaching methodologies.
* Develop and update curriculum materials, lesson plans, and assessments in accordance with program objectives and industry standards.
* Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate learning and skill development.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and program completion.
* Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to enhance program offerings and address student needs.
* Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in adult education and relevant industry trends.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to students, assisting them with academic and career planning.
* Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all participants.
* Assist with outreach and recruitment efforts for professional education programs.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
* Minimum of three years of experience in teaching, training, or professional development, preferably with adult learners.
* Demonstrated expertise in the subject matter being taught.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in using educational technology and learning management systems.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Minimum Qualifications:
