Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services within the Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Department of, specifically at GRHA. This role involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and consultation to support the well-being and development of individuals served by our organization.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Conduct psychological assessments, including cognitive, behavioral, and personality evaluations, to inform diagnosis and treatment planning.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, family therapy).
* Provide individual, group, and family therapy to address a wide range of mental health and developmental challenges.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated care.
* Participate in treatment team meetings, offering psychological insights and recommendations.
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies and regulatory standards.
* Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
* Educate and consult with staff, families, and guardians on psychological principles, behavioral management strategies, and developmental considerations.
* Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain licensure/certification.
* Contribute to program development and evaluation initiatives within GRHA.
Job Preferred Qualifications:**
* Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-accredited program.
* Current and unrestricted licensure as a Psychologist in the state of practice.
* Minimum of 2 years of post-doctoral clinical experience, preferably in a behavioral health or developmental disabilities setting.
* Demonstrated expertise in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
* Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or serious mental illness is highly desirable.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
* Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team environment.
* Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
* Commitment to ethical practice and cultural competency.
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited college or university, current Georgia license to practice psychology, and one (1) year of experience at the lower level Psychologist 1 (HCP140) or equivalent.--Note: License may be temporary, provisional, or permanent.Equal Employment Opportunity Employer
