Job Description:

The Digitization Audit Intern assists the Records Management Unit in evaluating the quality, accuracy, and integrity of digitized records produced through the organization’s records digitization initiative in PaperVision. The intern will review scanned records, verify indexing accuracy, assess image quality, and document audit findings to ensure digital records accurately represent the original documents. The intern will receive a list of records for auditing purposes with audit issues named.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or spreadsheet software

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Familiarity with document imaging systems

  • Knowledge of records management concepts

  • Experience working with databases or electronic document systems

Internship typically lasts 8–12 weeks (or as determined by the department).

DPH accepts educational credentials recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) as valid. DPH will contact educational institutions to verify degrees, diplomas, licensures, and other relevant credentials.
