Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Recruitment and Retention Specialist (Part-Time) position in the Academic & Student Affairs division. This position is located at Atlanta Tech's South campus just south of Downtown Atlanta, in Forest Park, GA.
Under general supervision of the Director of the Dual Achievement Program, the Recruitment and Retention Specialist (Part-Time) position will be responsible for the recruitment, retention and data accountability efforts of Atlanta Technical College Preparator Academy (ATC-Prep) Dual Achievement Program. This is a part-time position, up to twenty-nine (29) hours per week.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to, the following:
- Enter data into a variety of formats and computer programs, generating documents and reports requiring program area knowledge.
- Enter data from forms, records, and /or reports using student information database software.
- Print and distribute reports required by the ATC, TCSG Management Information System and Federal agencies
- Process transcripts and enrollment withdrawal requests.
- Maintain record-keeping and filing system for all students.
- Keep abreast of current information regarding ATC-Prep Dual Achievement Program and re-deliver information to all stakeholders.
- Lead projects in the areas of design, implementation and execution of special events, recruitment, retention efforts and other activities.
- Assist with registration and orientation functions.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to assist with coordination, management, and monitoring of strategies designed to attract, engage, recruit, retain, and support students through the ATC-Prep Dual Achievement process.
- Develop and implement special initiatives and activities, through a variety of engagements, to maintain a seamless process into ATC-Prep; and
- Performs additional duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess and demonstrate an Associate degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university AND three (3) or more years of work-related experience providing recruitment and retention services in a post-secondary education environment.
