Registrar Office Assistant (PT)
The Registrar Office Assistant provides administrative support to the registration, reporting and student records functions of the Registrar’s Office.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scan records, transcripts and other information into College’s imaging system · Manages imaging system archives by scanning student records into imaging system · Enters data from forms, records, reports and/or other sources into the computerized student information system · Assists co-workers with basic questions and problems relating to the computerized student information system · Assists the Registrar with entering student graduate information into student information system · Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of experience working with Student Affairs at a Higher Education Institution. · Efficiently operate a personal computer utilizing the Microsoft Office software and other microcomputer applications · Ability to multi-task and work independently to accomplish tasks · Ability to meet and interact with the general public in an effective and tactful manner · Skill and ability to perform complex and varied duties in an efficient and confidential manner · Decision making and problem-solving skills · Skills in working with the public in a customer service environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have proficiency in computer applications, including Windows, Microsoft Outlook Office Suite, Banner, excellent communication skills (both oral and written), ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ability to interact with both students and faculty with broad diverse backgrounds (both by telephone and in person), and the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Salary: The salary range for this position is $12 to $14 per hour.
