Reporting to the Director of Creative Services, this position is responsible for creating timely, engaging and accurate content that promotes the College’s programs, students, employees, events, and community impact.
The coordinator will play a central role in managing Savannah Technical College’s social media presence, photographing campus life and events, developing written and visual content, maintaining organized digital assets and assisting with a wide range of marketing projects. The successful candidate must be able to move comfortably between planned campaigns and fast-turnaround daily requests while maintaining the College’s brand standards, voice and professional image.
This is a hands-on content position for a creative, organized, and dependable professional who can recognize compelling stories, capture them through photography and video, and quickly turn those moments into effective marketing content.

Interviews sources, verifies names, titles, dates, locations and links, and translates technical information into clear audience-friendly content.
Marketing, Digital, & Event Support
Creates and updates routine graphics, flyers, digital signs, email graphics, presentations and event materials using approved templates and brand standards; resizes and adapts approved creative assets for multiple platforms.
Assists the Director of Creative Services and marketing team with campaigns, newsletters, social media, recurring College publications and other special projects.
Updates assigned website content and reviews pages for accuracy, accessibility, readability, current information and working links.
Organizes photographs, videos, graphics, templates and final project files using consistent naming, metadata and archival practices.

Provides promotional, photography, signage, setup and post-event support for recruitment activities, open houses, graduation, pinning ceremonies and other College events.
Coordinates with vendors and supports the production and distribution of marketing materials.
Helps maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers and community partners to increase awareness of Savannah Tech’s programs and initiatives.
Researches industry and platform trends, tracks media coverage and assists with evaluating campaign effectiveness.
Performs other duties as assigned in support of the College’s mission.
